Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the post examination material covering letter
It is the official covering letter submitted after the examinations to accompany the remaining Part-I OMR sheets and to reconcile the blank barcoded sheets. It records how many barcoded sheets were received, returned, and used — so the examination material is fully accounted for.
It records the day range for which the remaining Part-I OMR sheets are being submitted — for example 1st Day to 12th Day, 1st to 14th, or 1st to 16th. A blank fill-in option is available for custom ranges. This appears on the letter to specify the coverage period.
You enter the serial-number range and total of blank barcoded sheets received (Received From / To / Total), the range and total returned (Returned From / To / Total), and the Total Used. Together these reconcile the barcoded sheet stock so that received equals returned plus used.
Yes. All the serial number and total fields accept numeric input only, which reduces entry mistakes. Non-numeric characters are blocked automatically as you type, so the reconciliation figures on the letter are always valid numbers.
The stream type sets the letter for the correct examination stream. Select GENERAL for general academic (intermediate) courses and VOCATIONAL for vocational courses, matching the examination whose material is being submitted.
Type the College Code — after 4 characters an autocomplete list of matching colleges appears. When you leave (blur) the field, the code is validated against the college database and the College Name is auto-filled in green, or an error is shown in red if the code is not found.
The Letter Submitting Date is the date on which the covering letter and post-examination material are submitted to the board. It is selected from the calendar picker in dd/mm/yyyy format, restricted to within 3 months ahead and 1 month back.
Submitting the form generates a formatted covering letter containing the college details, stream, submission days, and the full received / returned / used barcoded sheet reconciliation. It is ready to print, sign, and submit with the post-examination material.
Yes — the post examination material covering letter generator is completely free for all authorised users of the TSIPE platform. There are no fees, credits, or subscriptions required to generate or print the letter.
